ArcticStore Tropical represents the next generation of ArcticStore models as we continue TITAN’s journey towards a greener future. Our Tropical model is cutting-edge refrigerated storage designed with energy efficiency in mind.

Unlike traditional storage containers, ArcticStore Tropical can keep its temperature for a longer period of time, even after a power cut. With its advanced insulation and cooling technology, it takes 48.6% longer to reach 0°C from -40°C and requires 19% less time to reach -40°C from +25°C compared to standard containers.

Furthermore, the ArcticStore Tropical uses 21.4% less energy to maintain the -40°C temperature, making it a more sustainable and cost-effective solution for those in need of refrigerated storage.

GETTING IN AND OUT MADE EASY - THE DOORS

 

One hand door operation with sensible height door handle is standard on the majority of ArcticStores and save the operator minutes each and every time they enter the storage container. 

Easy operation doors also ensure they are effortlessly correctly closed during the working day. Traditional container doors are awkward and often are only closed 70-90% leading to heat gain and increased power consumption.

The doors are mostly 70/30. The larger main door is often large enough for all loading and unloading. Leaving the smaller door closed saves heat loss and therefore energy consumption.

To help improve further the energy efficiency ArcticStores feature full width sliding air curtains.

For personal workplace safety, all doors include an internal door release and/or escape hatch. Internal alarm activation is standard.

Ground to floor ramps are available. On most models these are secured to the container and do not interfere with operating the doors.

ArcticStores comply with the normal requirements with regards to safe working in a cool or freezer room. Internal door and/or escape hatch, internal lighting, man trapped alarm with external beacon and siren.

Our "need to have" dayglow signage is in accordance with ISO standards. We supply additional "nice to know" signage for user benefit and improved safety. The user manual is supplied.

Refrigeration and electrical components have various international approvals including CE approval. The containers are engineered, manufactured and certified in accordance with ISO standards for shipping containers including CSC Container Safety Convention.

Safe hygienic storage for all kinds of commodities

 

Inside an ArcticStore it is a combination of food-grade stainless steel wall panels and aluminium roof panel and floor. All ArcticStores are delivered after high-pressure steam cleaning. They can be easily and effectively kept clean during use.

There are 4 hermetically sealed drains, 1 on either side at both ends. These ensure that any water naturally drains from the storage containers. Un-desired guests cannot enter the container through the drains.

COMPLIANCY COUNTS

SmartArctic gives 24/7 remote control and monitoring of the cold store as well as a remote download from the in-built data logger. Manual on-site data download is a standard feature.

GDP for pharmaceuticals and HACCP for all products ensures a compliant documented standard for the storage of all types of products and produce.

We control and account for Fgas in accordance with local and ISO 14001 requirements.

FROZEN, CHILLED AND HEATED 

Frozen storage from minus 0°C/32°F to minus 40°C/F. No matter what the set-point between these temperatures and the external ambient temperature the ArcticStore will precisely maintain the required temperature.

Storing at chilled temperatures from plus 0°C/32F. Set the temperature and the refrigeration will do the job. Accurate and very precise control.

Heated storage is as simple as setting the temperature. ArcticStores will maintain temperatures as high as plus 45°C/113°F.
