To meet our increasing transport of hire and sale containers, TITAN is investing in two MEGALIFT side lifting trailers and Volvo FH Electric vehicles.
MEGALIFT trailers are like all side lifting trailers with the ability to lift and transport loaded and empty containers. TITAN will be operating one from TITAN’s Taastrup Container Centre and the other from our Lystrup Container Centre. These new additions will work together with our existing waggon and drag and articulated hiab vehicles.
Our purchase of Volvo FH Electric tractor units to operate these trailers is the first TITAN investment in electric heavy goods vehicle technology. We are really looking forward to offering customers green transport when hiring or buying containers from TITAN. As there are some months lead-time on deliveries the trailers will be initially operated with traditional diesel tractor units.
